Armenian Church of St Gregory 1994

This national monument that is at least two centuries old was restored in time for an Armenian Orthodox service conducted by visiting Armenian Bishop Dr. Osbagan Choloyan. Built in 1835, the Armenian Church is the oldest surviving church building in Singapore. This was funded by the small but wealthy Armenian community and was gazetted as a national monument in 1973.
