Jim Watkins's (20) Austin-Healey followed by Michael Song's Triumph TR4A, at the Clubman Sports Cars Race of the 1972 Singapore Grand Prix, held on the Upper Thomson Road Circuit. The Clubman races were introduced to allow more entrants from Singapore and Malaysia to take part in the races, as the main events were dominated by international competitors.
