The 2006 Chingay was held along Orchard Road, with the Flying Dragon performance as the finale. Fireworks filled the night sky that night, providing a majestic backdrop for the dragons. After the thrilling parade, 34 dragons snaked down Orchard Road as red and gold fireworks shot overhead.
