The former Supreme Court at St Andrew’s Road, pictured on 26 April 1965, was completed in 1939 as the last grand neo-classical structure of colonial Singapore. Serving as the nation’s highest court until 2005, it housed major cultural events and, in 2015, was reborn as the National Gallery Singapore together with the former City Hall building.
