Tony Goodwin [6] in a Lotus 20B and Lee Han Seng [8] in a Lotus 22 lead the race in manoeuvring round the Circus Hairpin. Lee Han Seng would emerge the winner that year, a rare win for the local motorsports community as international competitors began to dominate the races.
