Poh Tiong Keng at Kim Keat estate of Toa Payoh 1968

The Toa Payoh satellite HDB flats were being built in the background of the Poh Tiong Keng Temple in 1968. This temple is also known as the "sunken temple", as it was built on swampy ground and its surroundings would often be flooded. The Poh Tiong Keng temple was eventually demolished in 1977, and was rebuilt under the name Poh Tiong Beo.
