The Chingay parade, themed 'Joy', aimed to unite people from various backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures in a lively 'Food Wonderland'. Participants showcased shared experiences transcending ethnicity, language and the world with food-themed performances and floats. This also marked 60 years of bilateral ties with Malaysia, and both countries jointly nominated Chingay onto the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
