Singapore Girl Pipers for National Day Parade 1970
The Girl Pipers were Singapore's first all-girl bagpipe band, formed by the People's Association, which made their debut in the 1967 National Day Parade. Out of over 500 applicants, only 36 ladies were initially accepted into this unique band. They were active performers until the 1990s.
