The Pageantry and Fireworks Displays of the Parade 2008
The NDP 2008 theme "Celebrating the Singapore Spirit", was inspired by the previous year's Prime Minister's National Day Rally speeches. A Singapore Cheer was introduced for the purpose of cheering on athletes and Singaporeans at sporting and other competitions.
