In the early 1990s, following a 16-year effort to clean up Singapore's polluted waterways, Mr Paul Fong was one of the first people who water-skied on the rejuvenated Kallang River. Today, the Kallang Basin hosts water sports like kayaking and dragon boating, overseen by the Singapore Sports Hub.
