About This Image:

An-Nur Mosque was initiated by the Muslim community of Woodlands, who wanted an accessible place of worship. As Woodlands used to be primarily made up of kampungs, the Muslim community had to travel out to visit the nearest mosque. In 1980, the blue mosque of Singapore was opened.
