Members of the public wanting to pay their respects to Mr Lee Kuan Yew lying in state at Parliament House started queueing from 7am at the Padang. There was a special lane at the Padang for the elderly, the pregnant, school children, families with children under six, and those with special needs. Ground personnel also distributed water to those waiting in line. (March 26, 2015)
