An old canal that has been naturalised into a 3km river is the centrepiece of attraction at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. The green lung, one of the largest urban parks in central Singapore, features open lawns and gently sloping grassy banks along either side of the river. Children are delighted to wade into the water to fish for guppies. (Aug 1, 2017)
