About This Image:

Srinivasa Perumal Temple along Serangoon Road. On Thaipusam day, kavadi bearers assemble for prayers and piercing before they start their journey to finish their prayers at the Tank Road Temple. The temple is dedicated to Hindu god Sri Vishnu, worshipped as the embodiment of the powers of preservation and protection. Sri Vishnu in the form of Sri Srinivasa Perumal is the presiding deity here.
